Stephen Keshi unhappy over Sidney Sam’s unavailability

Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles,Stephen Keshi, has lamented the possible absence of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder,Sidney Sam, from the squad that will prosecute the South Africa 2013 Nations Cup for Nigeria.
The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) can only begin to process the paper-works for the German-born player, who is also eligible to play for Nigeria, after the Nations Cup,because FIFA cannot issue a clearance for the player before the tournament.
Keshi has been chasing the player for a long time now, before Sam agreed to play for his father’s country, despite representing Germany in the youth levels.
“The NFF is pushing hard for Sam to be here but it depends on how long that will take, I would have loved to have him around for the nation’s cup but to be frank, the world cup qualifiers are close so maybe he’ll be around for that “ Keshi told Brila FM.
Keshi once stated that he wants to get the best players for Nigeria, irrespective of where they are, which explains why players like Shola Ameobi,Bright Dike and Victor Moses now play for Nigeria, despite being eligible to play for other countries.
But does Keshi not have enough arsenal in his midfield to prosecute the Nations Cup? will Sam be a big miss?
